Beauty in the Potting Shed

"Let us, then, plant with diligence and care the garden of the soil, but let us, with far deeper earnestness, tend the garden of our hearts." ~The Cottage Gardener, 1849

Potting sheds and gardening have always been a love of mine from childhood, some of my fondest memories were gardening with my mother in Europe. Designing this concept for this shoot was so dear to me because it brought me back to those days where we lost ourselves in our garden.

Wavering Place

We had the privilege to be apart of Meredith Jamison's styled shoot at Wavering Place over the summer. It was such a pleasure working with all of the talented vendors. Our organic florals and designs went so well with her vision. It's not hard to do when you have such a stunning venue such as Wavering place.

The grounds and garden were amazingly beautiful filled with native foliage. We were able to gather cuttings to make this stunning foraged bouquet.

The ceremony location was so beautiful to begin with it didn't take much to transform it into such a soft and romantic spot.

Just look at these beautiful roses from Grace Rose Farm, aren't they dreamy? All this greenery gives you all the organic feels but the sprinkling of roses adds just the right amount of elegance.

Don't you just love the gold accents and all the pretty little details on this tablescape?

It was such a pleasure working with these great vendors.

Lauren + Matt's Darling Augusta Wedding

Lauren and Matt's wedding was a beautiful, warm June day at the rolling acres of Pine Knoll Farms. From the start, Lauren and Matt put their complete trust in their vendors, so bringing their vision to life was a true joy.

Lauren's love of planning, attention to detail, and classic, airy preferences really shined. Captured, of course, by the talented Lauren Carnes.

Now THAT is an unbeatable bridal shoe choice.

The florals we used were a mix of lush greens, frothy pinks, and a little bit (okay...a lot) of lovingly foraged flora.

Just a little bit of magic is all it takes to install these sprawling greens above Pine Knoll's open air chapel altar.

The sweetest addition of the horse drawn carriage is in honor of Lauren's grandfather. It brought her down the aisle to be walked in with her dad, and the timing was perfect!

We brought in this beautiful linen overlay for the cake table as something a little extra special for this sweet bride and groom!

A special thanks to all the vendors who brought their A-game for a flawless wedding day!
